Keller ISD (KISD) is a DFW school district that spans over 51 square miles, including parts of nine different cities. The district enrolls more than 33,000 students within its 40 total campuses. Of the districts 40 campuses in operation, 22 are elementary schools, six are middle schools, six are intermediate schools, and four are high schools. Keller ISD is noted for its state achievements in academics, fine arts, and athletics. Additionally, Keller ISD has received Texas Honor Circle Awards for its public education excellence. The district also includes an alternative school, a natatorium, as well as an early education campus. As of 2014, the tax rate in the district is $1.54 per $100, according to Tarrant County’s budget information.
