Carroll ISD (CISD) is a DFW school district located in Southlake, Texas. The district enrolls more than 7,500 students and 1,000 employees. Carroll ISD spans 21 square miles and operates 11 campuses. Of the 11 campuses in operation, five are elementary schools, two are middle schools, two are intermediate schools, and two are high schools. Carroll ISD’s STEM Program and Carroll Medical Academy provide students with a unique opportunity to prepare for future careers in the science and medical fields. In addition, CISD has earned state and national recognition for its academic, athletic, and fine arts programs. Several athletic state championships highlight one of the best high school football programs in the country, Carroll ISD has earned praise for developing some of the best young athletes to enter the college ranks. As of 2014, the tax rate in the district is $1.400 per $100, according to Tarrant County’s budget information.
